loll nice. it's my first time watching the whole series. it's both funny and disappointing when you're enjoying a show and they do something like that to completely dismantle any suspension of disbelief

I've reached out to the guy multiple times with no response. I've gone ahead and initiated a support investigation with the site support and they said if he doesn't reply to them about it then they'll cancel the transaction for me and return my funds.

what's an appropriate waiting period to give independent sellers on resale sites to ship your purchase? I've given this dude 7 full days so far to ship the package. USPS status is they're waiting on the package from him.

is it blurry/blocky? no
ringing artifacts? no
still looks like it's from a dvd? yes
more watchable than the ai upscaled version? 1000%

for real, I feel like it's just some hobbyist folks who are hyped up about optimizing old media and not even caring about whether or not it essentially destroys the original material bc all that matters to them is crisp lines

I have a problem with ai video upscale techniques in general though... they are quite subpar in the way they garble on-screen text into unintelligible glyphs and produce uncanny valley weirdness on everything. I'll stick to traditional upscale techniques thanks.
