People can debate AI all they like, but surely we can all agree that anyone who owns or uses a pair of the pervert glasses that secretly record people should be ostracised immediately and totally from our society? I'm sorry but your pervert glasses prove you're a pervert! Get out of town!

Along with this, just thinking about how eugenics and patriarchy combine to get this result. Like there's an air of I won't be fat like them and I don't cook food because that's for girls to do for me so I'll eat kibble.

My understanding is that one of the main reasons the anti-Iraq-war movement failed so badly, despite mobilizing massive numbers of people, was that it mainly focused on symbolic marches and not direct action against companies/institutions that upheld the war machine.

I wish more anti-war groups around the country would pivot from symbolic marches to targeted campaigns against companies that form the pillars of the US war machine.

Today is Disability Day of Mourning; a day dedicated to remembering disabled people who were murdered by their parents and caregivers. I don't have anything insightful to say this year that hasn't already been said before. I just wish people gave a shit.

Congratulations to Dr. Rümeysa Öztürk for earning her PhD despite being unlawfully targeted by ICE for protected political speech.

Our victory in AAUP v. Rubio will enshrine rights for non-citizen students and faculty like Dr. Öztürk. Everyone deserves to learn and speak freely on our campuses.
