The Summer Hikaru Died Animate Event in Seoul. We had to loiter around Hongdae until we were allowed into the no reservations time slot. A lot of the merch was already sold out by then but it was fun looking around anyway.

I’ve only ever seen the movie on VHS, so the Dolby Cinema experience was overwhelmingly immersive in a good way. It was also heartwarming to see a mix of much older fans of the franchise in their 50s and 60s along with people who weren’t even born when Gundam Wing was airing.
