We live in a two-tiered system—where corporations & brands buy access to the data they need and public interest researchers are locked out.

One customer representative candidly admitted: "Even when they added more restrictions on Facebook, we found a way to get more data."

Judge Permanently Blocks National Guard Deployments to Portland for ICE Protests

A win for reality.

“Judge Immergut also disputed the president’s claim that antifa, at least in Portland, is an organized and cohesive group working against the federal government” and that testimony from ICE about “how disruptive the protests was not believable.” www.nytimes.com/2025/11/07/u...

"Kaine said while only 8 D's voted with R's, more wanted to see the shutdown end.

" I can tell you this, there were a lot more than 8 that were really happy that the 8 of us voted them the way we did."

🚨 Tim Kaine is saying the quiet part out loud - underscoring why anyone shouldn't be satisfied with any of the "no" statements or posts from Dem Senators.

If Dem Senators are truly disgusted with this save they should be calling on #SurrenderSchumer to step aside as the Leader immediately.

Self-Employed Person here...this is a trap. The insurance we get isn't as good as what's available to employer plans. And its expensive. Nobody is "negotiating" with health insurance companies except super wealthy oligarchs. This will literally kill people like me.

A San Francisco Crackdown Would Carry Enormous Economic Risk In less than two weeks, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has gone from San Francisco’s most beloved philanthropist to its most famous turncoat to its most unlikely hero.

Yesterday, Trump was sending federal forces to San Francisco. Today, he's not.

The reason? Some rich tech bros talked him down.

Have you ever gone to pay your rent and there's a $3 fee on top of rent? Or maybe it costs $10 to pay with a credit card? Yeah. So that convenience/junk fee is actually illegal in several states.

Landlords do this all the time — but it's often illegal and makes the lease void.
