Went to a couple of friends' birthday party on the weekend and ended up talking about writing while there. Had a couple people mention how they were envious of my writing, and imposter syndrome hit me hard.

I checked out my feed and thought I was on Twitter. Then I realized all the posts were retreats by one author. Unfollow that author and suddenly there is all the people I was missing. I guess I know who the problem child was...

Took my cat for an ultrasound on his heart today. I wish my last vet hadn't given me so much distrust of vets, cause now I am here, a bundle of anxiety and just trying to keep myself busy. Thank the gods I am not at work...

Fable is an interesting app. Like Goodreads, but not. Still on the fence about it. While I like the greater sense of community, it is a lot like Blusky and X in many ways. The fact that they are trying to also be a reading app is a bit weird though... and then there is the ties to booktok...

Yep. Trying to do an anthology if Raven and Holly stories for one.

So all the writing I have been doing has been quite therapeutic, as well as productive. I am finally on the way to finishing my own two anthologies as well as continuing with more @armouredfoxpress.bsky.social stuff. All in all I am quite happy.

1500 words done on my lunch break yesterday. Hoping I can keep that up!

I really shouldn't be surprised to see that my feed on here is the same as my X feed... and yet I am.

Holy crap!!

There was a time when I was working full time and going to university full time and didn't have a dime to my name. I would walk an hour and a half to work because I couldn't pay the $1.50 for transit. My meals were stir fried veggies and rice. Pretty sure that explains my previous post's feelings...

So I just realized that when I have a lunch for work the next day, I feel secure. Like, I just had a mini panic about lunch tomorrow and realized I had gotten a giant sandwich to chop up and take to work, and I had an overwhelming sense of security wash over me...
