Touchdown Seattle.
Got some research reading done on the flight. Now I'm looking forward to seeing friends this week at ECCC!
Thank you for the support!

It's amazing to watch families in Artist Alley. Older Dads ignore almost everything, but then they see my banner and their eyes light up-
"Oh man, I used to read Conan back in the day!"
I show them the new Conan issues and if they're not already buying it their family gets it for rhem as a gift.
I have similar energy with "your Dad's favorite new comic writer" on Conan the Barbarian.
It's a badge of honor to reconnect old school collectors to their youth and, besides, Dads have deep pockets for their nostalgia.
This week is Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle and I'll be there all 4 days! It's one of my favorite shows each year.
I'm on panels (Convention Horror Stories, LitRPGs), doing signings, and set up with Comic Sketch Art in Artist Alley at TABLE A-23!

Here are the other two she's made for me so far:
A dungeon map
Old School Marvel
Unfortunately, all the material we didn't want to keep is now gone.
Friends took most of it and then the rest was donated to a local theater group.
Not sure where she bought it, but apparently it is an official licensed fabric, not a bootleg.

Stacy sewed a new shirt for me just in time for Emerald City Comic Con - D&D 1st edition monsters!
Yes, she is the best.
I am so damn fortunate.

Hearing from long time sword & sorcery readers that the current Conan the Barbarian series has them excited and/or brought them back to comics is a point of pride.
It reminds me how we're carrying on a treasured legacy, reconnecting with older fans and discovering new fans as well.
CONAN THE BARBARIAN #29 arrived in shops last week and it was a risky move, starting a new story arc focusing on a new villain in the Hyborian Age.

This is the 14th annual Convention Horror Stories panel at ECCC and, as the panel title states, it's become a show tradition, with anecdotes that shock and delight the standing-room-only audience.
Get there early if you want a seat.

So many wonderful memories wrapped up in working on these stories with our Avengers team.
If you've never read NO SURRENDER and NO ROAD HOME, your chance to get it all in a spiffy hardcover is coming soon!
A wonderful piece. The full size version is even more eye-catching.

The 2026 Robert E. Howard Award nominations just went out and I'm thrilled our team snagged two nominations for The Rankin Award (Visual Media):
β’ CONAN: SCOURGE OF THE SERPENT mini-series
β’ CONAN THE BARBARIAN #25, "The Nomad"
Congrats to all the nominees!

Issue 29 of Conan the Barbarian did something really special. No spoilers, but the characterization and deep dive into Hyborian age psyche, hasn't been seen since the Frozen Faith arc (13-16).
I truly appreciate @jimzub.bsky.social taking risks to elevate the story.
