NZ. In search of that 2010 twitter vibe where someone was always around to tell you why traffic was bad on the southern and the skytower was that colour.
What?!!!!

Today is my birthday (turning 29), which is the only time all year that I ask for a repost 🌿
I hope you get lost in fantasy worlds as much as I do 🔮
This is so peak New Zealand. #NZLabLife

But this judge needs a clue
A child molester is NOT fit for the Police force and his desire to be a cop should not have excused him from punishment
A man who sexually assaulted a 5 year old boy is surely not the kind of person we want in the police force? WTAF!!!

15.04.2025 01:15 — 👍 13 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0A far better term than “pregnant people” in information meant for patients themselves is to opt for a direct, inclusive address. E.g:
“If you’re pregnant, you’re eligible for a free flu vaccine”.
This is technically compliant, more accessible, personal and far warmer than “pregnant people”.
This is petty, cruel and shows the bizarre priorities of NZ First.
However, Health NZ can still be inclusive and technically obey this jammy little demand by jammy little people. Here’s my comms person take 🧵

I wish there was a way to get a digestible breakdown of these alternative paths that got taken off the table. I miss newsrooms that employed more than 2 journalists at a time.

An excellent rebuttal of Prebble’s claims.

La transition de la ville dépend de notre capacité à voir le présent comme un brouillon à travers le dessin du futur.
C’est une sensation très puissante, agréable et libératrice.
David Seymour: All New Zealanders should be treated the same under the law!
People: Cool, let's bring agriculture into the Emissions Trading Scheme :)
David Seymour: No, not like that!
I can’t get enough of this one. I find myself actively looking for excuses to go downtown now, instead of avoiding it like the plague.
