That's exactly my impression as well. Even HoF, who was roughly in the 19-25 bracket, felt like they were treated as more of an adult.

I would have liked to carry over more options from previous games. Not having DATV reference whether I opened a chantry in Orzammar is understandable, but the bigger choices should be there. However, after watching bg3 utterly devastate all the choices from the previous games, I will take this.

I actually genuinely appreciate and respect this decision from y'all on the dev team. The fact that such care is taken not to invalidate player choice. Any other game would canonize choices, but you guys don't, and that's so important to the DNA of this franchise.
