The DFL just lost a winnable race because they shoehorned in a moderate candidate rather than let the voters actually decide on their candidate.

Council denies permit for boarding house in west Brainerd The boarding house was a part of the Creekside Community development, which aims to providing housing for the homeless.

So I guess Brainerd just hates homeless people now.

Four years ago today, Brainerd Lakes Area DSA held its first public meeting.

And in those four years, we've been able to make a tremendous impact, fighting to make our communities better.

Jeff Czeczok's vacant city council seat must be filled by a Special Election. Brainerd residents should have the ultimate say in who represents them.

The next city council meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 18th at 7:30 PM. Please make sure your voice is heard.

With a vote at our chapter meeting earlier tonight, BLA/DSA is (to our knowledge) the first DSA organizing unit to commit to organizing on a Native reservation.
