I was just thinking about this, still at the top of my list of best single seasons

Wheee a new season! I only recognized two of the celebs in the last UK version (and barely more in the US version, but “housewife” and “survivor” sort of cover it)

It’s disappointing to find out an artist sucks s a person, and I won’t patronize their work if they’re still alive (Rowling, Gaiman). I’m not going to feel bad about liking the work I already read/listened to/watched though, what’s the point? Errol Flynn was my first experience with this (I’m old)

The priest’s tale is still very vivid and I read it when it came out
I keep suggesting we fall back every weekend and it will all even out eventually, but no one seems to agree

I generally stick to particular periods, she just happens to have written several books in two of them. She also has a Helen of Troy which I can’t imagine I missed but am not remembering anything about at the moment
Have you read her historical fiction? I really liked her Cleopatra and Henry VIII in particular
