Australian O&G and surgery folks: Iโve looked online to no avail and was wondering if there was a RANZCOG guidance document re fee setting (private hospital)? I can see some advice from RACS. Not for work but for me!
Shouldnโt still be up!
I got to teach in the Quadrangle Building at the University of Sydney - maybe my great great grandfather sat in this very room as a student 113 years ago.
So weird. Couldnโt access it yesterday on phone or desktop! Now can access on phone!

What happened to this paper? It's missing from the journal website... @anaesjournal.bsky.social

Had a slight panic where I realised I've cited this anthropologist but then @notalawyer.bsky.social said it was an ok book at the start.

1908: the Lancet, one of the most respected scientific journals, calls for 18 age limit on reading in bed amidst a moral panic surrounding children becoming "addicted" to novels, which were "designed to keep kids hooked" and destroy their attention/mental health
Went through that about a month ago ๐
Hopefully more will sign up! ๐
It was a surgeon today and he was interested in it too, so lots of talk about it!
If I talk about my work at a medical appointment, is it tax deductible given my work is about healthcare communication?
There was a guest speaker at my childโs high school recently. When he asked for questions, my 12yo raised her hand and said "this is more of a comment than a question" and proceeded to correct him on something. Never been more proud ๐ฅฒ๐
As my 12 year old said in response to this news, no parent should ever have to bury a child.
When at uni I did the Europe via USA trip as it was cheaper to fly that direction. Will folks now be going to Europe via Canada/Mexico?
Iโve seen muppet beauty and beast suggested where the beast is the human actor that turns into a muppet at the end. This would be my favourite movie.
