But Williams theme being used again for superman somehow works. It’s like a declaration that the kind, loving, human superman is back.

One of the things I hated about whedon’s justice league was the use of the 1989 Batman theme.

I strongly felt that it broke the musical continuity of the world and felt out of place and weird.

As much as I love Nolan’s trilogy, it heralded in an era of viewing the DC through Frank Millers Dark Knight.

A deeply cynical take that works ok for Batman (debated point), but looks down on and destroys characters like superman, Wonder Woman, and green lantern who see good in humanity.

I feel like, for me anyway, the hardest part of being a composer/artist with a disability is how much energy it takes to do marketing.

One of my favourite parts of Jasper Ffordes Nursery Crimes series is that the main detective is constantly told he’d be more successful if he could pick up a vice, or have a troubled home life.

I knew a company that wouldn’t recognise a trans friends new name officially. Managers would get difficult about printing name badges etc.

Then pride month comes around and wouldn’t you know it, there’s a trans flag in the window.

I’ve seen two AI ads recently. One (google) revolves around people not understanding why it exists. And the other (ray ban/meta) ends with the “joke”- AI ruins art.

I’m reading through the Virgin New Adventures dr who series, having previously read lungbarrow. And as much as I know that for a kids show RTD made a good choice in making Gallifrey basically a sci-fi us (two parents, standard family dynamics, standard hierarchies etc)

I think last years Eurovision felt like it had real energy. And that included protests and demon makeup and trans flags.

And this year they’ve pulled back, played safe. And as a result, feels like it has a lack of energy.
