The CODP will continue to use our influence at all levels to ensure the appropriate outcomes for the Operating Department Practitioner profession (4/4)

The CODP has been in direct contact with AHP Members of Parliament to reinforce the particular point that Operating Department Practitioners are already uniquely qualified in all aspects of perioperative care upon graduation (3/4)

While the headlines focused upon the largest workforce - Nursing - the CODP notes that Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) are also included in the announcement (2/4)
