I dressed up as Echoes of Wisdom Zelda so I could make a Tri hat for my 3 month old and carry him around being extra cute.

It was extra cute when he was sleeping in the carrier.

Barry's story made me teary several times. Being able to tell him it's okay to be that way was therapeutic. Relatable and the kind of friend I wish I had. ❤️

Day 25: Control - Ahti

Feels a little out of learn field, but Ahti! I love a lot of side characters, but this guy is so cool!!

Day 24: Clair Obscur Expedition 33

I am a lover of game sound tracks. A little over a month ago I would have agonized over this. Now, there's no question.

Day 23: Kingdom Hearts 2

I had to literally look up the order some games came out. Pre-ordering games for 20 years is a long ass time..

Day 22: Dragon Age 2 - Flemeth

Day 20: Zelda Ocarina of Time - Ganon

I played this game A LOT in my early teens. I have fought this guy more times than I can count. Super easy, even more of a pushover with the Big Goron Sword....

Day 19: Judgement Ring (from Shadow Hearts series)

I don't really have any in depth details outside of I love this combat system, and this series, so goddamn much.

Day 18: Final Fantasy X - Lightning Dodge

I generally love mini games, including Bioshock hacking, but Lightning Dodge can go straight to hell.

Day 17: Final Fantasy X - Suteki Da Ne

While not a favorite game, not even in my top 3 favorite FF games, I LOVE this cut scene. I used to keep a save file right before it because it's so pretty, and I love the song.

Day 16: Bioshock "Would you kindly?"

Like, jaw drop shocked...

Day 15: Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I like this game, I enjoyed what I played of it (I saw my husband finish it and the dlc) but it's just not the be all end all some people make it out to be.

I was sick for a week, so I'm just picking it back up here...

Day 14: Any support-ish class that let's me sit in the back and utilize range.
My favorite examples would be an Archer-Rogue in DA or Infiltrator in ME.

Day 13: Ben Starr & Rich Keeble - Verso & Monoco

I have to have these 2 as a pair. It's 2 very good performances, with the play off of each other it rockets them to my favorite VA performances ever.

Day 12: Spiritfarer - Jackie

Yes, one of my favorite games has the character I find most annoying. I actively avoid recruiting Jackie as long as possible because his personality is like nails on a chalk board, to me...

Day 11: Unpacking/Spiritfarer

I play a lot of cozy games, but my husband has told me he knows I'm extra stressed when I'm playing either of these.

Meanwhile I have a husband who buys me Lady Rainicorn bib-overalls and encourages me to be my most genuine self.
I cannot with a man who would treat his partner this way, especially when she sounds like a fun person to be around!!

Day 10: Shadow Hearts/Lost Odyssey

Another one ending in a toss up. Figure that happens when you've been gaming for 30+ years.

Day 9: Handsome Jack

I was sold at "these pretzels are so dry"

Day 8: Ichiban Kasuga

This sweet bean/cinnamonroll/idiot. Helped by the fact my older kiddo thinks he's the bees knees - we like Kiriyu too, but Ichiban is #1

Day 7: Gears of War 3

I pretty much never play MMO's and only occasionally play multi-player, but I spent countless hours playing GoW multi-player, but definitely played 3 the most.

Day 6: Bioshock / Clair Obscur Expedition 33

I wanted to pick 2 because Expedition 33 is the first game that came to mind, but it's so new it felt like a cop out. Clearly, I'm partial to games that throw you in and let you learn through context.

Day 5: Final Fantasy VI

Please give this game the aesthetic update it so very much deserves...

Day 4: Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and House Flipper

I generally am running a "normal" game and cozy game at the same time.

To be clear, I've fought harder bosses. But this thing... fuck this thing.

Day 3: Shadow Hearts - Yamaraja Wind
Bear with me. This f-er will live in my head rent free forever. I came from a long history of jrpgs with early boss fights you're not supposed to win. This jerk is not that.

Day 2: Stardew Valley
I play a lot of games over and over, but Stardew has this by miles.

Day 1: Super Mario Bros
I was born in 1985, but still remember playing this with my mom when I was, like, 3. Neither of us could get past the big pit in stage 1-1 😅

I've seen this a few times, and since I'm on maternity leave anyway, I will try and give this a go.
