After using GitHub Copilot for a few months (more specifically Claude Sonnet 3.7), I can say that it's done more good than bad, especially for generating unit tests and docstrings. Agent mode is pretty amazing too, although I'm noticing that response times have been getting gradually slower.

Last night, I needed a lightweight video editor to quickly edit, crossfade, and normalize sound for a bunch of clips together, and #Shotcut at just under 200MB did the trick. Big shout out to the open source developers for making an intuitive product. www.shotcut.org
