Today's announcement on scrapping the two-child limit is the culmination of years of campaigning from social workers & other anti-poverty campaigners. πŸ’ͺ

BASW has proudly fought for this damaging policy to be consigned to history. As a result, thousands of children will now be lifted out of poverty.

Scrapping the two-child limit is the right thing to do. βœ…

We're pleased that the government has finally listened to social workers who have been fighting this cruel, inhumane policy since day one.

Today, we lift thousands of children across the UK out of poverty.

πŸ“Ί We were pleased to hear Peers raise points from our evidence on the Assisted Dying Bill for England and Wales during last week's Lords debate.

It is vital that the voices of all professionals involved in the process are being fully heard and considered in the shaping of this legislation.
