Sad to hear that the great Pauline Collins has died at the age of 85. An absolute star of stage and screen, she made two memorable on screen appearances in Doctor Who. She was also nominated for an Oscar for the film 'Shirley Valentine'. RIP Pauline.

BBC: "Doctor Who will be back on our screens at Christmas 2026 with a special episode written by Russell T Davies."

Disney+ have confirmed they will not partner on the next season, but BBC says they remain fully committed and will announce plans in due course.
