I had a disappointing day; golf cancelled in the morning, football cancelled in the afternoon (only discovered the latter as I was driving there!). 😢

Now enjoying a few days in lovely York, although our holiday flat is almost under water!

Enjoyed a lovely day in Cambridge on our journey north on Sunday.

It sure is. My wife and I were both reduced to tears tonight.

Hopefully we’ll be back next year. 🤞

Finally……

We had a guest appearance from Ross Jennings, who joined Neal to perform Cradle to the Grave.

I recorded it all but it’s too long to post. Hopefully I’ve managed to split it into two, with a chunk of overlap in the middle. 🤞

After The Beard numbers, we then had the whole of The One Album.

Wow! What an emotional rollercoaster.

OK, last night of Morsefest UK.

What a night, it started with some Spock’s Beard classics……

It did indeed. He recorded an album last year with Neal Morse and Phil Keaggy, under the band name Cosmic Cathedral.

They played last night at the event I’ve been attending but unfortunately Chester was unable to travel due to some sort of medical issue. But yes, he’s still going strong!

It’s just as well we’re all different! It’s me that’s just been to the music event of the year, and I’m sorry but I’m about to post numerous videos for my prog rock friends! #morsefest

We went to Saffron Walden first. Lovely town.

We Came From Space. Perhaps not the same energy as we saw on stage last night, but a talented band nonetheless.

And it turns out Bill is pretty sh1t hot on guitar, as well as keyboards, sax and goodness knows what else!

Day One of Morsefest done & dusted.

Neal Morse & The Resonance absolutely superb. Perhaps it’s the smaller venue, but the band seems to have come on a lot since we saw them in Islington in the summer.

Support from the slightly crazy, and very energetic Cheeto’s Magazine.

Very nice indeed!

Weather has been so bad, it’s over a month since I’ve been out on the links.

Anyway, great win today, 2-1, but we should have been out of sight after 25 minutes when we missed a penalty to go three up.
