What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Dreich day yesterday at the start of the round at Leven Links, but fortunately it improved as the day went on. Before and after photos!

Cracking score, 3 over par. And managed to half our match after being two down with three to play. 💪

So apparently we have been playing it since the early 70s. Our manager then, Davie McParland, was a fan and introduced it. He lead our team to only our second (and last 😢) major trophy, so it’s played each week as a nod to his success with us.

Seeing them tomorrow! Looking forward to this particular track; they play it before every home game at Firhill (Partick Thistle’s stadium).

Stood on that very spot on the first day of my holiday back in August. Hard to beat that view!

I enjoyed The Six Wives, but the King Arthur set was a step up…..fabulous! I took a “non prog friend” along, he was blown away by The Myths & Legends.

Let’s hope Rick can keep playing for many more years.

Always comes across as such a lovely guy. His one man shows are great; the stories are as good as the music.

And he can still play, his current show is superb.

I’m not a huge movie fan, I far prefer live music.

But I can’t recommend the new film “I Swear” highly enough. There’s not many films that can make you laugh out loud, but also have tears streaming down your face.

It’s released in the UK now, other regions to follow. Go see it!

You can’t beat live music! And I’ve been to a venue in Kentish Town, all the way from Glasgow for the gig 😱

Australian Pink Floyd tonight at The Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Seriously impressive!

Yes, I’m seeing Wakeman and Wilson too, they added a Scottish date! 🎉🎉

He was right back on form this time around, ably supported by Adam.

Oz Pink Floyd for me on Saturday. Never seen them before so really looking forward to it.

You will love the Rick Wakeman gig; the whole band were on fire in Glasgow last week!

The Queen & The Soldier, my favourite Suzanne Vega song, performed tonight at The Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow.

Very enjoyable gig, and Thistle won too!!

When two passions collide!

Off to see Suzanne Vega tonight, but a Thistle game has been rearranged so they are playing (about two miles away) at the same time! Disaster.

And even worse, I have the same problem coming up on Saturday too 😱🤬

Great 1-0 win for The Jags yesterday, hard fought and maybe a touch fortunate. Josh Clark made a couple of saves early on, without those, it could have been a different game.

What a fantastic team goal though! From the right back area, thro midfield and left wing, then a glorious volleyed finish!

Loving the new album from The Last Dinner Party.

But why does no one ever class them as Prog? All the elements are there!

Even at the ripe old age of 76, Rick has still got it!

Beautiful day al Leven Links yesterday. Best round in many weeks, seven over par. But three over after fifteen!! 🤬

It’s always possible to lick the icing off the inside of the box tho! 😏

1-1, with an equaliser in injury team. We were the better team but I guess we should be happy with the draw, given the late goal.

I thought it was an excellent game, great entertainment!

Down to a sun bathed Cappielow Park today, always a tough game down here against Morton.
