Well, there's a first for me in Thailand. We've had no water since about 5 pm, called the water board out, and they said 'someone's stolen the meter'.

Watching YouTube vlogs, the choice of jobs in the UK now seems to be either working in a care home or selling whatever the city's drug of choice is.

Four episodes in of seven. I don't think it's as good as the first series so far.

The classic 'first apartment' in Lard Phrao for 2,700 baht a month (3,500 with aircon) Lovely little touches like the mirror near the door to check your appearance on the way out.

Back in the big mango. Swampy airport was incredibly busy with literally thousands at immigration, however I was thru the queue and processed in 9 mins so credit where it is due, they finally got the act together.

Good report, Simon. Things sound almost as bleak as they are at Samut Prakan. Thai football, eh.

Scamming people out of large sums of money is for me one of the worst crimes you can commit. As you say Andrew, it can ruin lives forever.

Retired expats should be able to apply for any kind of financial service that expats with work permits can apply for, without having to go running to an agent. Retirees often have more money. This concept always seems to be lost on Thailand.

Talking Thailand travel with someone and we got on to 'Thailand's best kept secrets'. For me there are four;
Nan, Sattahip, Prachuap, and Chantaburi.
Which cities, towns and provinces would get your vote?

Could you send me a link to any good lists of accounts to follow - particularly if they are based in Thailand or tweet about Thailand. Thanks all.

Tun has finished planning our December 'Western loop' road trip. 3 nights in Nakhon Sawan, 5 nights in Sukhothai, 4 in Mae Sot and then a night in Uthai Thani on the way back. We plan to leave on 16th December and return just before New Year.

Can I be bothered to build this account up again, that's the question? It feels too much like hard work.
