The poster for “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock” features a striking composition in contrasting colors – cool blue meets glowing red-orange. In the background, two large blue faces dominate the scene: on the left Spock, on the right Dr. McCoy, both serious and deep in thought, set against a star-filled sky. At the center, Captain Kirk gazes upward with determination. Surrounding him are key characters: Spock’s father Sarek with a dignified, stern expression; Kirk’s blond son David in uniform; and the dark-haired Vulcan Saavik with a focused look. In the lower left, the Klingon Kruge appears in traditional Klingon uniform, with a green Bird-of-Prey in front of him. In the upper right, the USS Enterprise explodes in a brilliant fireball. At the bottom, the film title appears with the tagline “…and the Adventure continues…”.
Hello everyone,
today I’d like to share my designed #StarTrek movie poster for the classic film The Search for Spock.
A piece of nostalgia – for all who love Captain Kirk, Spock, and their adventures.

Artistic retro-style poster for “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” Against a dramatic space backdrop with stars, planets, and the Enterprise in battle, the main characters are featured: Kirk looking thoughtful, Spock serious, Khan furious with clenched fists, alongside McCoy, Uhura, Sulu, and Saavik. Rendered in vivid red and blue tones, the image captures the film’s epic atmosphere.
It’s been a while, but it’s time to share another one of my #StarTrek #Artworks. Maybe not my best piece — but the movie is all the better for it. 🖖 #LLAP

At the center are the iconic characters – Kirk, Spock, Ilia, McCoy, and Decker – set against a glowing galaxy filled with color, light flares, and stardust. The Enterprise sails through space, while in the background, the bridge crew appears – a small storytelling detail that adds depth and dimension. At the top, the poster features the iconic quote: “The human adventure is just beginning.” I designed the piece in the style of classic fan art, with a retro touch and cinematic color dynamics. It’s my take – a tribute to a film that was ahead of its time both visually and thematically.

This poster features a dramatically staged design for the final episode of the original Star Trek series, titled “Turnabout Intruder.” At the center are the faces of Captain Kirk and Dr. Janice Lester. Kirk’s face dominates the left side of the image, his expression contemplative and slightly dark. To the right, Janice Lester gazes into the distance with a determined, almost bitter look. Their faces overlap slightly, surrounded by galactic stardust and cosmic light effects. Above these central portraits, three other characters are shown in thoughtful poses: Spock, McCoy, and Scotty. They all seem to be watching the events unfold with skepticism. Their faces are bathed in reddish-violet tones, like a nebula drifting through space. In the lower part of the poster, the starship USS Enterprise appears in flight, viewed from a low angle. Just below, on the right, there’s a small scene from the episode: Janice Lester—inhabiting Kirk’s body—stands before a glowing background, capturing the moment when her identity is still hidden after the body swap. At the top of the poster, a quote from the episode is displayed in bright blue, futuristic font: “Love? Him?! I loved the life he led. The power of a starship commander. It’s my life now!” In the bottom right corner, the series title is written in bold blue letters: “Star Trek”, with “Turnabout Intruder” beneath it. My signature, Michael Schuh, appears in the lower left corner. The overall style of the poster resembles classic hand-painted movie posters from the 1960s and 70s—with soft lighting, rich colors, and a slightly grainy texture, giving it a nostalgic retro look.
And here it is my poster for the final episode of the original Star Trek series!
Not my best work, and not my favorite episode either.
If I had seen this back in 1969, I would’ve been disappointed.
Luckily, I was born later – and got to enjoy many more Star Trek adventures. 🖖🏻

01.05.2025 09:14 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The image is a collage styled like a nostalgic Star Trek poster, featuring several scenes from the episode “Spock’s Brain” of the Original Series. In the upper left, Captain Kirk, Spock, and Dr. McCoy stand in a futuristic setting illuminated by vivid purple and pink lighting. Kirk wears his classic gold uniform, Spock is dressed in gray with a strange device on his head, and McCoy appears in his blue medical uniform. Below them, the USS Enterprise flies through space, accompanied by a small, spherical object. At the bottom of the image, the bridge of the Enterprise is shown: crew members in red and gold uniforms are attentively watching the screens. In the foreground, a woman with long dark hair, wearing a short purple dress and tall boots, stands facing the crew, seemingly playing an important role in the story. The words “His Brain is Gone!” and “Star Trek – Spock’s Brain” are embedded in the image in bright blue letters, matching the classic series’ style.
Hello everyone!
The second season has flown by… and so we’re diving straight into the third and final season of the Star Trek Original Series.
As a young boy, I thought this episode was amazing — and the older I got, the more I came to share the opinion of so many other fans. 🖖🏻
The poster for the Star Trek episode “Assignment: Earth” transports the viewer into the vastness of space. At the center stand three figures: Spock gazes seriously and intently to the side, Gary Seven looks forward with determination, and Captain Kirk appears thoughtful, his eyes set on the distance. The scene is framed by a vibrant starfield, interwoven with orange and blue nebulae. In the lower left, the USS Enterprise proudly soars through space, directly above the glowing Earth, its surface shimmering in soft blue tones. In bold yellow letters, the title “STAR TREK – ASSIGNMENT: EARTH” stretches across the planet. At the bottom of the image, a quote captures the spirit of the story: “Humans of the twentieth century do not go beaming around the galaxy, Mister Seven.
The #StarTrek episode remains one of my favorites. I would have loved to see it turned into its own #series within the #TrekUniverse.
