Oil & Gas represent only 39% of electricity generation therefore the overall energy increase is only a % of the increase. The impact should not have been felt as all the oil and gas was purchased at the lower prices. Any immediate increase is totally unjustified.
oops
Boris Johnson wrote a polemic against banning handguns a week after the massacre. Nigel Farage attacked the handgun ban as "ludicrous" two decades later in 2018. He is retreating from his view these days.

Rachel Reeves to set out extra support for UK households facing surge in heating oil costs
Is there anything Reform UK politicians won’t u-turn on?
Here’s Offord’s maiden speech about the importance of Net Zero when he was made a lord for services to donating money to the Tories:

It was only 3 years ago.
Watch Reform UK try distance itself from Donald Trump.
His Chair Edward Harris resigned last month for being a rogue HMO landlord, he spent £150k on unelected advisors, all whilst saying DOGE would visit - but it never did, and his party of course lied about raising Council Tax, which is now going up 4.4%.
He’s haemorrhaged councillors (two even just defected to Restore Britain), he’s stopped opposition from commenting at council, he wants to govern with “boots on the neck” of council staff, he’s risked jeopardising a trial.
The no-confidence vote has nothing to do with his age.
It’s because he’s abused his position as Leader. It’s because he’s got a terrible track record.
He’s had multiple code of conduct probes since being leader.
There was a public vote by the Royal Mint.
The public chose wildlife for our notes.
But beavers are ‘woke’ now. Apparently.
This guy is a joke.
A woman in Cardiff explains why she isn't voting Reform.
"I don't think to them it's about immigration anymore, I think it is about them wanting England and Wales to be white again."
Hi Richard Tice, still no apology.
The only way to protect ourselves from oil and gas price spikes is to get off the rollercoaster of fossil fuel markets and onto clean homegrown power.
That’s the mission of this Labour Government.

Reform can not be trusted.
Here is Lancashire CC leader Stephen Atkinson claiming they didn’t promise to cut waste and not put up tax.
He is of course lying.
Refrom promised to lower/freeze council tax in Lancashire by ending council waste & incompetence.

The UK and Ireland will be better protected against common threats as the two nations sign a refreshed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral defence cooperation.
“Some Women Should never have left the kitchen”
LBC’s Henry Riley speaks to James O'brien on the comments made by the Reform UK Deputy Chairman of West Northamptinshire Council at the Council’s International Women’s Day event.
WNC boss apologises for Reform councillor's reported 'some women should have never left the kitchen' comment at International Women's Day event
Facts and reFUKKKers have never been friends
The radical right wants you to believe that London is dangerous - but the facts say otherwise.
✅ Promise made. Promise kept.
Accident of birth shouldn’t mean a right to make our laws.
This week Labour ended the hereditary peers right to sit in the Lords. Parliament is being renewed for a modern Britain.
Labour’s golden age of new nuclear power is creating thousands of good jobs and delivering energy security for our country.
Agree .. and he also knows however reasoned he is the clickbait mentality on social and MSM will exclusively focus on the worst criticism ! So annoying.. really thought he was better than this ! Asked him if he was doing same on Farage, Polanski or Badenoch before Local elections .. no response !
The Greens' economic policies sound brainless and extremely damaging. It's a sign of how infantile our politics has become that this is not damaging them far more in the polls.

•Lobbying for a direct train from Swindon to Oxford.
•Opening up youth hubs.
•Attracting business to the town.
•Setting out a vision for the heart of Swindon.
On May 7th we have a choice. Flashy politics with no tangible plans for delivery or Vote Labour to continue building a better Swindon🌹
Swindon is not broken, it has just been let down by 20 years of Conservative led council and 14 years of a National government that didn't have a strategic vision for the Town.
Under this Labour run council, we are seeing the change that Swindon deserves. A bold new vision for the town delivering;
His approach is definitely not the Farage blast all enemies &am disappointed with size of crowd he attracted. Last thing we need as a country is Reform somehow sounding reasonable ..think he’s reacting to the “Reform talk the country down”that Labour has used successfully.Hope Lab comms is watching
Reform comes to Swindon to say how broken things are, but at the same time praises my work reindustrialising the town. I am proud to have been the first MP in decades to bring advanced manufacturing back to Swindon, making us the drone manufacturing hub of the U.K. 🧵
My own NHS stories are overwhelmingly positive ..I think it shows the importance of recognising huge variance across geography and illnesses .. and a need to distribute best practice and financial aid to key areas.. Lab already sending in expert teams to support some hospitals ..baby and bathwater
