My solution: transform the piece into 7/4 (which has an even number of sub beats) and emphasize the regular strong kick drum beats while the syncopated melody floats over the top. The listener doesn’t even realize they are dancing to music not in the typical 4 beats per bar! 4/5
Hans’ original theme is in 7/8 meter, which creates a jumping, syncopated rhythm with an odd number of sub beats. The challenge of arranging this piece in a dance music style was presenting his theme in a way that features a steady, regular pulse expected in the genre 3/5

I recorded the piano in my home studio in Los Angeles and collaborated over the internet with the fabulous musicians of the FAMES orchestra, located in Skopje, Macedonia, and conducted by Maestro Oleg Kondratenko for the remainder of the orchestra parts. 3/5
