The leading Republican candidate for Governor doesn’t seem to have the same understanding of “show us the math” that I do.

Alvaro, I'm crushed. I really thought you knew all about Maine, Maine politcs, and Maine issues.

It seems you don't have a single fucking clue about what's going on in Maine, but that does not stop you for one minute from running your mouth about it.

This is devastating.

For those w/ FaceBook accounts I encourage you to check out Chris Crass's latest post. I've followed him a bit & found he usually makes sense.

He's posted a lengthy piece on what's going on w/ the SURJ endorsement etc. It's good. Comments are good. The advantage to FB is it allows deeper dives.

So you ARE from Maine and do know all about Maine politics and issues? Great! As you know, we Mainers like to ask and tell each other how we're going to rank our ballots.

For the primary I'm ranking 1 Platner, 2 Costello, 3 Mills 4 LaFlamme.

So how are you ranking your ballot, Alvaro?

I’m sick to my stomach to learn that our country is likely responsible for the killing of 125 Iranian schoolchildren. Donald Trump must be made to answer before Congress.

Graham has been out on the street actively standing up for immigrants communities. Whether or not people think he is sincere, he picked the right side.

I understand that SURJ National just endorsed Graham Platner. I'm familiar with SURJ quite well, I started the Boston chapter back in 2016 and still work with organizers from Boston and Maine chapters.

Lot of thoughts on this, but until I unpack it with some colleagues, I'll mostly be quiet.

That's my take. It's also the stuff that's not captured in the media and on these platforms. The national media isn't capturing these moments, but folks in BIPOC and organizing communities in Maine are seeing that.

So no, you cannot or will not give an unqualified condemnation of the ongoing genocide in Palestine

that tells me all I need to know about your moral compass.

I'm actually not sure where Desjardins got his Maine Revenue Services figures from, but it's obvious that 2,267 people with incomes of at least $1 million each much have a total income of at least $2.267 billion. He's the one off by a factor of 10, not Dr Shah.

See if you can spot the math error here from Tom Desjardins, (former Commissioner of Education and onetime Maine Senate GOP policy advisor) as he attempts to criticize Nirav Shah's own math skills #mepolitics

This seems so obvious! Politics is not an on/off switch endeavor. I want my lawmakers to have bedrock principles like mine & still be able to respect/handle/negotiate w/ an opposing view.
Recov-you have the patience of a saint-I appreciate you hanging in w/ this guy.

Mills doesn't have a chance in hell of beating Collins. MAGAs hate her w/ a white hot, vitriolic, misogynistic hate because they're still pissed off about covid, & she annoyed progressives with all her vetoes of progressive legislation. That leaves a narrow slice of centrist Dems. Not enough.

I've been telling people if they're not voting in the Maine primary, their opinions aren't worth spit. You have a much nicer way of putting it! Taking notes.

Why do I suspect you're not from Maine, don't know anything about Maine, or Maine politics, and probably can't even pick out Maine on a map?

How are YOU planning on ranking your Maine primary ballot in June? Which of the 4 candidates are you going to rank #1?

Good lord. My Bachelors is in Child Development so that's how I analyze people's behavior. And I'm merely pointing out that I had Sue's number back when I was 13. I've known her a long time. That's all. Kind of tetchy there, ain't ye?
