Complete mental blank that Keane played for them!

Tielemans and Kamara both on free transfers is impressive. McGinn for £2.75m of course. But I’d add in £17m for Martinez, £12m for Konsa both proved outstanding value over the years. Only paid £15m for Douglas Luiz. Only thinking recently, as relative prices have changed so much!

He really doesn’t function effectively in this team anymore. I’m biased… but I’d change Kane for Watkins and Gordon (who is anonymous) for Rogers at half time. Inject some more urgency, and a genuine threat in behind.

A half of football that shows precisely why - in this team with these players - Watkins offers much, much more threat. Kane is an England legend for sure, and a phenomenal finisher. But his record-breaking stats are hugely padded out with penalties and flat-track bullying minnow nations.

#England are soooo much worse tonight than on Thursday. And the front 6 is the same bar Kane for Watkins. That first half gas been all about space behind the Irish defence (that Kane won’t run into) and pullbacks / balls into the 6 yard box and Kane not being there (where he should be)…

For me, #AVFC 3-2 Coventry in 2001. 2-0 down at half time to two Mustapha Hadji goals… then the brilliant comeback including Ángel’s first goal for us. All goals scored at the Holte End where I was sat. Phenomenal.

I was in the Holte for this game. Absolutely epic. One of my favourite games I’ve been to.

So on first listen, I’d say this is a fantastic return from Linkin Park. The singles have all been excellent, but the only track here I’m less keen on is ‘Casualty’. 4⭐️

Think Olof would be brilliant for us then. Less obvious than McGrath.

Does this need to be players who could ACTUALLY still play (Like Jack, or Dougie)… or any player from the past who’d improve us in their prime? If it’s an open book, I’d get Olof Mellberg in for that RCB/RB role. Otherwise, 💯 Jack Grealish .

I love the film. The series was decent, but not a patch on the film IMO. Charlie Hunnam is genuinely good in it, High Grant is hilarious and Colin Farrell absolutely steals every scene he’s in as The Coach.
