It's not exactly being super impactful, cause as we saw in AUS Ferrari seems to be able to fight Mercedes and I don't think that was a one off, but goddamn is it not fun to watch quali when you know exactly how it's gonna end because an extremely illegal car is being allowed to run for 4 months
I've never seen a sport this obsessed with not being a sport
Why did I just open the F1 website to an article titled "Why the Ferrari drivers remain optimistic about their chances" WHAT DO YOU MEAN REMAIN??? WE'RE IN WEEK 2. THEY WERE 3RD AND 4TH LAST WEEK... ??????
I gotta assume George Russell isn't a hypocrite and certainly thinks Mercedes was extremely selfish in 2014 and the 6 or so years after where they completely dominated the sport and enjoyed the rewards of having done a better job than everyone else instead of sharing their car design with the others
Anywayyy Rodri best Ballon D'Or winner ever 🤪
I actually think 3 goals at the Etihad would be doable but I know Guardiola he's gonna assume this is already lost... but at the same half our bench plays better than this team so maybe he really should consider this lost
I'm gonna convince myself Guardiola has decided to lose every competition but the Carabao as opposed to his usual strategy of winning every competition but the Carabao because none of the other possible explanations are fun
So I don't like doing stuff like this but from my entire interaction with this person they are quite literally crazy so please block and report them
I don't doubt Susie Wolff has good intentions with F1 Academy but sorry how is having a woman driver in F1 "inevitable" when you haven't even been able to get a champion, much less one of the girls who isn't, into at least F3? That's not entirely F1 Academy's fault but it's also not entirely not
If I can be 100% honest I think it's way too early into the season for everyone to already be at each other's throats this hard over a strategy call that ended up not mattering much, regardless of which side you stand on. And with that I bid you good night
É isto que temos a treinador
Been on my shitlist ever since it became clear he used an alleged crime Horner committed as a way to make himself look good and seek a power position in an F1 team
I love when Red Bull gets this attitude of "Oh my god everyone should listen to us because we saved you all from the Mercedes dominance era, we are their number one opponents, you should always stand with us"... If you and Mercedes got forever banned from F1 I wouldn't shed a single tear
Sometimes I really don't understand why Max and George basically despise each other because my god are they peas from the same whining pod
They are a beauty to watch
ALSO god those Ferrari starts can make a grown woman (me) weep
My thoughts after the race:
• Don't agree with Ferrari's strategy. Not a huge deal, first race, a lot of lack of data, but I think it's ok to defend that ultimately it was the wrong decision
• Not worried about the Ferrari vs the Merc which is great since it's public knowledge the Merc's illegal
People are acting like that Merc is not getting nerfed and I don't know why. It's annoying that it's going to take as long as it is but the FIA full already made this decision
In reality it might not be a question of changing the testing because, while it will obviously massively impact the Mercedes engine, that car has some issues that have been poking their heads and will eventually fully show themselves. Just not entirely sure it will be tomorrow, next race...
Finally watched quali. A few thoughts:
• This season is gonna have 2 parts: Pre and Post FIA changing the compression ratio testing
• Very unpredictable race tomorrow. Multiple cars will probably suffer with reliability issues
• Excited to see if the Ferrari rocket starts work
• Is that your wdc...?
insane photo
I love the Australian GP because I wake up, look at the FP times, I don't understand anything and I don't need to understand because it's free practice AND THEY DON'T MATTER
I'm fascinated by the amount of people wanting to "baby" Aston Martin cause, while sure they do not have the history of a team like Ferrari, they have been around long enough to not make a mistake this drastic and this avoidable
It's just absolutely impossible for City to win this championship. Blatant penalty on Haaland today. But I've said it 20 times and I'll say it again: This is City's own doing for not protesting the multiple games where ref mistakes have cost us points
Really sucks that their first half of the season went the way it did. At the moment they are absolutely not a team who's playing football that deserves to be relegated
Gostava de saber onde está o castigo do Prestianni pela forma como tratou o Sidny. Posso estar maluca mas titularidade parece-me tudo menos castigo
Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez: “Today more than ever, it is essential to remember that one can be against a hateful regime as is the case with the Iranian regime…and at the same time be against an unjustified, dangerous military intervention outside of international law.”
