I wish we lived in a society that valued platonic and queer platonic bonds more and didn't treat them as placeholders to romantic relationships or a means to an end.

I wish there were more books and shows on how to build and maintain close healthy, longterm friendships and representing that...

Is it something you feel like you can talk to any of them about this? It might be worth a shot to bring it up to them and your worries if you haven't yet to see if something can be salvaged.
