Seabird Silver - Est 2021

Newly sanded and polished silver castings. All cast by me using different techniques to achieve very different results!

I've been watching quite a few lovely animations today, this one tho, what memories! I LOVED that album. One of the first CDs I bought that was truly my own taste in music and not something my brother or friends liked.

I think having Siobhan as TM would help cos she'd be able to bridge the gap between the US/UK humour.

I would laugh my arse off with Siobhan Thompson as Taskmaster, Zac Oyama as Alex and then Rehka, Vic, Ify, Brennan and Jess Ross as contestants. I think that mix of contestants would work together and be a great range for the TM tasks. As soon as I Alex and Sam in a photo I genuinely screamed.

I'm now doing a job. Every week day. It's gross cos I have to leave my bed in the freezing, pitch black to do it. Boo!

2001 will always be my favourite. Kane and Stone Cold were the best. Steve Austin has always been a good man too.

I should add that I believe in many chazzas still, very deeply, there are just some huge ones that take the piss and use funds incorrectly at the high, high, high management level, not at the helping people level as much.

Yep. I used to work for chazzas and so much of it is rich people taking the fucking piss. Worse even was when I was in a fine art foundry, now THAT is a tax write off. Same principle.

Next up, turning this behemoth into something delicious and battered and intriguing.

Blusky, Blusky, Blusky!

The Powler pendant. This tale of Peg Powler who lives in the Tees. She appears as a young lady in distress, anyone who jumps in would soon find a long limbed, green haired, sharp toothed river spirit. She would pull them under and the only indication she'd been there would be the bubbles on river.

A silver ring with deep, ragged carved lines that look a bit like lightning. The ring has a large square opening for a face thus it is called a 'window' ring.

A stormy themed ring with a window like safe harbour and perfect for anyone who has finger tattoo and still wants to show it off.

A hand with green protective tape on the fingers holds a silver ring in the process of being carved. The carved pits and lines are a brighter white than the rest of the large silver band.

This may look like an absolute mess right now but it's all part of the process. I know this technique isn't common practice either but its how I come up with all my prototypes. This will be another weathered ring that will also imitate a hag stone so I cannot wait to finish it! #jewellery #art #dsnm

George Framptons Peter Pan Statue. It is aged bronze roiling with forest creatures and fairies all leading up to Peter Pan at the peak playing his flute. The statue stands in a car park having been transported for molding at a foundry.

We had the gorgeous original Statue carefully delivered to us and it was molded from top to bottom in large panels and I spent months making and remaking those panels in wax through the lost wax process before they were invested and recast in bronze.

When I worked in a fine art bronze foundry I was lucky enough to spend time remaking the George Framptons Peter Pan Statue. It feels strangely intimate to see people mourning Liam Payne with a Statue I spent 6 months or so getting to know every fairy and furry creature so well. #bsnm #liampayne

The Quake Ring is a chunky silver ring with a large flat face with deep rugged lines carved on every surface including the inside of the rings.

The extreme nature of the planet to tear itself apart and leave these deep rips and tears in its surface like lightning bolt ridges.
Even they succumb to time.
This ring is based on the awesome power of earthquakes and the destruction left behind on the seabed. #bsnm #jewellery
