Well, I have a lot to work on in that regard, and every regard for that matter...

Glacier tries to make the " :3 " face as he wags his tail.

As a result of trying to make a face that his mouth isn't meant to, Glacier hurts his jaws and cries in pain.

Apparently yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of when I drew this little skit with Glacier and I forgot to post it. Oh well, I doubt anyone would've noticed anyways...

Also, I touched up the first part a bit because I gave him the wrong shoes and also to give him proper "Sonicified" eyes.

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the first time I ever drew Blaze. To be honest, for only having had two and a half months of art experience, I think it was some of my best work at the time but there are definitely some aspects of it that could be improved. Got a nice reception to it tho :)

This is the only thing I drew all month but at least I can say that I had fun doing it and well, I actually MADE it. Plus the fact that I've come a decent ways with my art in the 14 months that I've been doing it :)

I'm kind of in a block right now. I'm grateful that @molassesaurus.bsky.social invited me to trade with her but I'm finding it very difficult to try and work on my half of it, and the same goes for the project that I started a month ago which I haven't gotten very far along with :/

Granted, it still looks very nice of course, and I'm still very grateful to him for the commission, although what I quoted in the first post of this thread was my true vision for what it should have looked like, even if my drawing is far from perfect. It did decently well on Twitter though :)

I originally had the idea for this piece back in October of 2024, before I started drawing. I commissioned Sonicguru to do it, but I don't think I explained to him correctly how I imagined it, because this is what I had received originally.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of this piece. There's a bit of a story behind it that I'm sure many of you following this account probably know already, but I'll mention it again just in case.

Maybe this isn't a great comparison, but I don't really see it as being any different to when composers/producers make remixes of music. It's just the same original idea being presented a new way.
I don't see anyone in THAT scene getting called out over doing such a thing, what makes art different?

I'm sorry but I can't get behind condemning artists for tracing. I get it, it's really scummy for someone to take credit for another artist's hard work, but if they're honest about it, it's really not that much of a problem. At least they actually DID something as opposed to using AI.

I did have quite a lot of fun while drawing Belle and I also gained a newfound sense of admiration for her, because she's quite a unique Sonic character and her story is really interesting. Can't wait for the new arc 🙏

After about 8 total hours of work, this is what I managed to create and while it may not be perfect, I'm still very, VERY proud of what I achieved with this piece. Enjoy! 🧡💚

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions since it has only been three weeks since I started this account, but that number ended up being way, way lower than even my most optimistic predictions 💔

However, if you do fall into this cohort, then I sincerely appreciate that fact and can't thank you enough 🙏

I think I'm still going to post finished pieces on my main simply just because it's naturally going to have way more reach than this account because I'll be honest, the reason I even started it in the first place was because I wanted to gauge how many people were primarily interested in my art.

I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night and I've been working on this for 5 hours straight so I think I'm gonna take a break for now and see if tonight's snowstorm doesn't render my computer indisposed whenever I wake up.
I made good progress and I'm excited to show you guys the full thing! :D

I started another piece alongside my main project just so I can have something done for this month in case it takes just too long and holy mackerel, I don't want to spoil too much, but I think I might just finally have something going that will go head to head with my Tikal art in terms of quality 😮

So did I cook with this thumbnail or nah because I'm ngl even though the video's done pretty well RELATIVELY to some of my other content, ngl with y'all I'm still lowkey kinda disappointed considering how much effort I put into the whole thing :/

How the holy heck did this get 23 likes as opposed to some of the other legendary people's posts in this train lol

Here's just a little taste of what's to come. Tangle's head and arm here are merely the tip of the iceberg in terms of what this is going to look like eventually.

Can I be completely honest about something? I kinda hate that "pick up a pencil" is the de facto thing to say to promote actual, genuine human art. Where's the love for people who can draw with their fingers on their phone or that use a mouse such as myself? :(

Granted, I understand that that mouse could also be a key to starting to use generative AI, but I think we should try to encourage artists to try and learn how to use it to master their skills in programs like Paint, Krita, etc. just as much.

Maybe it's just me, but "pick up a pencil" implies to me that people HAVE to go traditional when that's just simply not true and in fact I imagine there's people out there that are saying that that don't even USE a pencil to draw. Kind of an oxymoron if you ask me.

But who am I to talk...

Part 1 of a story featuring Glacier that I'm planning to continue eventually, but am not fully confident that I'm able to draw the necessary panels yet.
