That's a fantastic design!

A set of enamel pins, a detailed black cardboard box, 2 stickers and an art covered thank you card are laid on a wooden desk. The art style is inspired from art deco, with a lot of fragmented shapes, sharp angles and a lot of color. The birds are shown mostly from profile. The species represented are from left to right : White-Rumped Griffon Vulture (card art), Shoebill, Eurasian Magpie (small pin), Kookaburra, Blue Jay (large sticker), Red-Legged Seriema, eurasian magpie (medium pin), Bearded Reedling (small sticker + small pin), Hoopoe, Turkey Vulture (box art).

Two pins and a pendant. One pin is an orb-shaped Kestral, the other is a magpie with its wings spread. The much larger pendant is a blue jay with a similar profile to the magpie.

On nice days during this deep winter time, the vultures get short jaunts outside to enjoy the sun and snow. Yolo the king vulture has a lot of fun exploring this bizarre winter world, then enjoys foot and face warming as soon as he returns inside.

It never ceases to amaze me how well that emus can adapt to winter!

Very close! This is normal pied, the silver pied is high white version of pied (80+% white) and the stripey patches here would be faded to silver/grey/dilute instead of being so black

There's quite a few color morphs in peafowl, a lot of really beautiful ones but pied is definitely my favorite!

Windows make all our buildings into human aquariums for the birds. They love to peep in and watch us work, it seems very entertaining for them.

I love seeing people getting their new pins! I'm so happy with how this entire batch turned out. Many were more detailed than any we've made before but I think they turned out extra beautiful :)

I love their ice blue adult eyes but oof I often wish they kept the giant dark baby eyes forever because they're too cute, I can't stand it!

It's hard not to just smoosh his little face all the time (and he loves it and pushes his face into your hands when you stop), it's too cute!!

I feel like most people dont know just how adorable vultures really are! They are the cutest!

Yolo often stands with his little back toes crossed, which I find ridiculously cute!
You can see vultures don't have bulky feet and talons built for grasping/carrying like other raptors. Their more chicken-like feet are meant for bracing on food to pull at it with their powerful beaks, instead.

That is awesome! Yes, that is one of the places we went, we spent two nights at the lodge :)
