I’ve posted this before, but here’s a reminder to students and juniors that the game industry has never been this bad in terms of opportunities. The amount of studio closures and layoffs is unprecedented. Not even the crash in the 80s was this bad. I see a lot of talented folks beating themselves up

my first hockey match back after recovering from a concussion (also hockey related...) I managed to break my own ribs on my hockey stick as I ducked to avoid a rogue ball flying towards my face. I'd just been subbed out with 3 minutes left in the game, so wasn't even on the field at the time ☠️☠️☠️
