I am always accepting feedback on what I post. I have made changes to things I personally liked based on feedback from some in person play testing as well as from people messaging me about the trailer. I take feedback as someone wants to help.

New model for the cave entrance shown. I still need to add some trees to make things look nicer.
I love making people smile. That's why my characters are called the Smile Builders, my first game is called Smile Run, and I am working to keep my games similar to old school arcade games. I want families to sit around the computer and try to beat each other's score. Bring back family game time.
Yesterday was one of those days where I completely destroy something I had working just to make it better today.
While working on hand coding swimming physics, I accidentally had the character bouncing on top of the water. I think I invented a 5th environment by accident. If the game sells well enough, I think I will add "Bouncy Castle" as a free DLC patch.
Happy International Women's Day. Lily and Mimi are relaxing with some weekend yoga and decided to say hi to everyone.
Who is ready for a swim? The water environment will really mix up the gameplay as you change from running to swimming.

Does anyone know of good communities for chatting with other game developers?
Things look scary underwater. I hope the gifts don't get wet.
I am on the fence about having an air meter. I may test one to see if it makes the game too chaotic. I may also have it as a setting for players to toggle if they want it.
They all love yellow dinosaurs.
Almost always works is still good. I like it.
Looks awesome! Congratulations on the launch!!
Working on the final environment for Smile Run. The water environment will be the most unique of the 4 environments. I see the finish line, but it is still a bit far. (working on the finish line also (for the gift delivery mode))
Getting ready to start the water environment this weekend, so have an early version of Kit's swim cycle. Right now, it moves between two poses, but I might make his tail do more to give the animation more life.
The clothing clipping is getting better but not 100% yet.
Screenshot from the latest video I am working on.
Everyone is calming themselves through Yoga in the soon to be released "Yoga Struggles"
I didn't realize how short the kid's arms are, but I will make them work. The seem fine in other applications.
That is a great start
Hey! Her eyes are up there.
Just some silliness while I go back to more weight painting.
I am working on an updated gameplay trailer. I want to now release a new gameplay video every week or two. In the mean time, check out the original cinematic trailer for Smile Run and Kit's introduction.

That's great
I know 3D comics don't usually look very good, but I want to make some with the Smile Builders. I want them to have stories outside of just the game.
I still need to play around with them some more, but adding 6 varieties of trees to spawn on the ground is really making the environment pop. They are billboards, so I can have 100 on screen if I want. Yes, closer trees do look obvious, but that is what I need to work on.
looks great
Sometimes, you just have to play a little more. The fact that the reviewer played more was a sign they at least wanted to like the game more.
Pretty
I spent half the day trying to change how everything moves in Smile Run. I could not make it work, so I went back. Plus, adding a rigidbody to everything really slowed the game down. This game is so simple, it should not be slowing down the computer. The old way averages 400FPS at 500K Verts.
With the darkness in the news every day, I remind myself that everything I work on is designed to bring joy to everyone. Be that light.
Being a programmer, I was not aware of how long it would take to learn 3D modeling well enough to make Smile Run. I thought the game would be done in two months. That was July. When I am in Unity implementing stuff, that part is quick.
It feels dirty, but I may have to use Meta for promoting. I have avoided FB for so long. As long as it stays professional. I do have a personal Insta, but I never use it.
