OMG they released the deposition videos where they revealed that these two DOGE bros were just feeding grants into ChatGPT and saying "tell me if this is DEI in less than 120 characters."

A Day in the Life of an Ensh*ttificator YouTube video by Forbrukerrådet - Norwegian Consumer Council

"Make people dependent enough, and then make it shitty"

Still giggling at this hilarious video from the Norwegian Consumer Council "A Day in the Life of an Ensh*ttificator" which seems a perfect embodiment of Silicon Valley and tech generally these days

How US tech giants supplied Israel with AI models, raising questions about tech's role in warfare U.S. tech giants have quietly empowered Israel to track and kill many more alleged militants more quickly in Gaza and Lebanon through a sharp spike in artificial intelligence and computing services.

I would like to remind people that AI has already been used to kill people

OpenAI and Microsoft supplied Israel with AI models to track and kill people in Gaza which led to increased civilian deaths

Ok I spent alllllllll day doing this. (Thought it would take 3 hours... definitely more) But I promised myself I would finish the course this week.
I'm feeling a lot better with React now and I got some accessibility tips and practice in there too.

YES! It has been clarifying so many things and I love the repetition in multiple small projects. It also helps me think of how I can break functionality down to more manageable problems

Parking-aware navigation system could prevent frustration and emissions By minimizing the need to drive around looking for a parking spot, this technique can save drivers up to 35 minutes — and give them a realistic estimate of total travel time.

New research from @cathywu.bsky.social et al. confirms something I've long suspected:

Navigation apps could save their users a lot of time — and tilt travel decisions toward transit and biking — if they showed users how long it takes to find parking.

Exclusive: US plans online portal to bypass content bans in Europe and elsewhere The portal could potentially put Washington in the unfamiliar position of appearing to encourage citizens to flout local laws.

I just posted a paper about Twitter’s algorithm moving people to the right and keeping them there.

Countries outside the U.S. are attempting to mitigate the poison from social media platforms like Twitter.

So the U.S. State Department is developing a portal for them to get around any such law.

Been using simple codewars problems for warm ups/ filling my daily github squares / practicing doing PREP and analyzing time complexity.
Then I move to leetcode on their explore cards to help with DSA. It is highlighting my gaps for sure.
I studied this solution for an hour.
