Okay, the sooner I can get a full rundown of the Fairies in the new Sims 4 expansion pack, the happier I will be... just because I'll finally be able to convince myself that despite knowing it's way too much to ask, they actually aren't going to give me the Fae I want.
They're all our furbabies (or scaled babies, or feathered babies...)
- a fellow cat mom/grandmom.
Just bought the Lovestruck expansion for Sims 4 'cause it was finally down to 50% off.
Preparing to hate my game for a while (I absolutely do not want the new romance dynamics, but I do want the world/build-buy/stuff)
Just spent half an hour in Dreamlight Valley setting up a dreamsnap that will *maybe* net me 1200 moonstones. Despite me setting up an actual cohesive runway collection that screams Daisy Duck. Because if it isn't overloaded with crap and sparkly, it doesn't get votes.
And before anyone says "they're fine to me" the edges of the Uncanny Valley are actually variable depending on the viewer. So just because I find them a touch off and a little disturbing doesn't mean anyone else should (but if they do, that's okay too)
I think I realized why I can't get excited for InZoi (and a part of why I didn't get hyped for Life By You either)
The Uncanny Valley. Zoi's dance right on the edge of it for me, and some of the animations and expressions just push them over the edge.
Well, this is fun. I've been watching InZoi videos over the past week to see if I want to try it out ... and YouTube has increased the number of AI based Shorts it suggests for me.
Not InZoi's fault directly but it does make me uncomfortable.
Hi. Haven't posted in a while. Have an Alex cat who climbed into the blankets on the chair herself.
My dear, lovely, gentleperson you do wonderful art, you have skill that I wish I had the patience to develop. Please tell your brain that there is never any reason to apologise for art, and feel free to keep doing whatever you feel like doing when drawing for yourself.
Yep. It is no longer my blanket. It belongs to the Alex cat.
It's normal. Annoying as all get out, but normal. if you don't already (and if you don't have a reason to keep him out) leave a bedroom door open at night for him to sleep with someone. Especially his favorite. Not a guarantee, but it might help.
And the fastest way to get our two to show up is to start prepping the wet food. They just... manifest out of thin air when they hear me get the saucers down.
Ours have slow feeders with dry food that they can eat whenever (we top up roughly 1/4c per day each - we have 2 cats and 2 feeders) and they get 2oz of wet food each on Wednesdays and Sundays. We go with all Kirkland, and the doc hasn't said we should change.
Alex cat really likes my lap blanket, even if I'm not quite finished with it.
I've had cats all my life... which is the only reason I don't worry as much as I do. My daughter still gets freaked out on occasion and I have to re-assure her that all is well. Also, cats sleep up to 20 hours a day to conserve energy for the 3 am hunt. :D
Um, Tylee... I'm still working on that blanket...
(Doimplings may recognize it as the one I started just before Nifty Knitting came out)
Alex cat has been kinda clingy since I had jury duty last week. I was only gone for half the day, but the way she's acting, I was secluded for a week...
I had jury duty yesterday. Alex cat missed me and doesn't want to leave my lap today.
More knitting inspections from the Alex cat
I need to get up and do things. Alex cat does not care.
I'm working on a temperature blanket this year. Alex was doing some quality control.
The Alex cat has been especially attached to my lap today. Probably the cold.
Hey, it's not a cat post, it's a Sims post...
Do I give in to temptation and start a new Base Save, or just keep playing my current family save (not that I've posted about them anywhere.)
Decisions, decisions.
Who are you and what have you done with The Henford Hen?
Oh, this brings back memories. My D&D Barbies were never that cool looking, though. (to be fair, I was only 13 at the time)
Yep, this is all I'm posting for the forseeable future. Pictures of my Alex cat sleeping on my lap
That's fair, although we have 17 different social media jobs, and the one from University isn't active.
I'd want an active day care/grade school only if it could be active from both ends - both as the kid going to said school *or* as the teacher/teacher's assistant.
Board games and TTRPGs (I'd prefer a faux game over a licence with D&D for ... reasons) because they're good for building friendships. Also more crafting, but I'd like to see some sort of alternate option besides donate or monitize.
I'd also actually like an expansion on Reading as a hobby.
