It's so frustrating! A whole year to 'fix' the app, and the same basic issues persist 🫠 I really need to dig out alternatives!

Worthy Read: How to accelerate growth by focusing on the features you already have by Ken Rudin

"Most of a company's growth comes from the less glamorous stuff: incremental and consistent optimization of the core product." 💡

@team18f.bsky.social had a great track record. I remember reading their guidance a few years back and thinking how great it would have been to work with their team. #digital #dodge

@stephenjenkinson.bsky.social Hey Stephen. Any plans to make the pavement extensions on Hillside Crescent permanent? They are a good addition to slow traffic sweeping in from London Road, but remain a pandemic era eyesore! Junction is exceptionally wide for pedestrians. Thanks :)

When you view your roadmap from today forward, you tend to forget that today = the sum total of many decisions in the past. This is why the near term is more "locked" while the cone of uncertainty expands as you move into the future

I miss having a good Bodega nearby. Open late with fresh food and bagels. UK has nothing like them 🥲

It's Scotland. We excel in endless public sector websites that barely function. It's a speciality of ours. I'd expect a big IT outsourcer to be hired, and for them to go on and make a pigs ear of it.

Designing a simple service is relatively easy.

Designing a simpler service while bounded by a range of immutable constraints is the actual work.

It's messy. You need tech with you from the start to help you understand the mess.

Line graph time series of 2023's daily global sea ice extent in red shading compared to each year from 1979 to 2022 using shades of purple to white for each line. There is substantial interannual and daily variability on this graph showing only between May and October months. A long-term decreasing trend is visible, which is a result of only the Arctic. Data is from the NSIDC.

The extent of global sea ice cover remains record small for this time of year. Both poles are unusually low, but the largest departure is currently coming from the extreme event in the Antarctic.
