What if you did some type of complexity=difficulty scheme? I’ve had the idea for a while of a mechanic that scaled difficulty based on the number of words a person needs to describe their magical effect. For example, “fire” is < “heat their armor,” which is < “immolation in a circle at that group.”

One of the best (and worst, for the following reason) shows I've ever been to was seeing Low back in 2017 or 18. The band were known for playing particularly quietly (more bands should do this), and there was a couple drunk assholes in the crowd who were literally louder than the band. Infuriating.

My most current game, presently in development, is the most succinct distillation of my anger in the face of this absurdity, yet at the heart of it is hope I can't wait to talk more about it.

All of which to say: if you enjoy roleplaying games and hate fascists, I might have just the thing for you.

All of the games that I've made so far have been instilled with my own rage and bitterness about the state of the world right now, and especially regarding the inflated rise of fascism in the west and my home country. It's been cathartic to make these games, and I hope it is equally to play them.
