20.10.2024 21:13 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Radioheadβs Kid A released 24 years ago today. Wonderfully divisive album.
I wonder what % of Kid A owners never discovered the CDβs second booklet, which is sitting, still hidden and unread, with its maniacal Tony Blair caricature and other ramblings?
A biblically wet group run. Much needed after a day full of talk of redundancy and other HE calamities.
I shouldnβt pay attention to my watchβs βrunning indexβ score β obviously β but its slide during a summer of stress and ankle-knack has been, well, beyond my control.
Come, autumn calm.
Sounds amazing. Music-making at its most engaging and democratic!
25.09.2024 19:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good point. Missing in this conversation is the idea that kids might not necessarily hammer the keys but instead try, gently and apprehensively, to produce a nice noise.
25.09.2024 07:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Pianos in shopping centres, at least those Iβve seen, have already seen better days. I say let the kids hammer away.

Hereβs a photo I took last week of one of those pianos they proudly display but in a way that prevents them from ever being played β this one moated by shallow water most of the day. See also: padlocked pianos in shopping centres.
