Radiohead’s Kid A released 24 years ago today. Wonderfully divisive album.

I wonder what % of Kid A owners never discovered the CD’s second booklet, which is sitting, still hidden and unread, with its maniacal Tony Blair caricature and other ramblings?

A biblically wet group run. Much needed after a day full of talk of redundancy and other HE calamities.

I shouldn’t pay attention to my watch’s “running index” score – obviously – but its slide during a summer of stress and ankle-knack has been, well, beyond my control.

Good point. Missing in this conversation is the idea that kids might not necessarily hammer the keys but instead try, gently and apprehensively, to produce a nice noise.

Well, this place looks remarkably like Twitter 2010. 🤩👋

Here’s a photo I took last week of one of those pianos they proudly display but in a way that prevents them from ever being played – this one moated by shallow water most of the day. See also: padlocked pianos in shopping centres.
