also always be paying attention to perspective even from the beginning. make sure to make it less detailed the farther you go, but also make sure this transition happens fairly quickly (I guess this probably depends on the camera angle)
thank you, I've found it pretty effective to start blocking in all the big blobs of different values and colors at the beginning, + the closer the blob is the more you can see the bottom of each blade of grass, but in each blob try to limit the darkest value so the big blobs are still readable
I don't understand how some people can regularly paint grass at this quality (and better!), this was absolutely exhausting
