New Achievement!

I read foundation and found it mostly underwhelming. The series felt much more like a story and less like a documentary.. I love the addition of the emperors. I made it through 4 WoT books before all the sniffing, skirt smoothing and arms folding under breasts made me tap out.

Foundation and wheel of time were definite improvements over the books in my opinion. Although Brandon was consulted by the show runner for WoT, none of the properties you mentioned gave complete creative control to the actual authors (yes I know they are all dead) or the estates.

I used to follow a PC gaming site called Voodoo Extreme in the late 90s. The webmaster’s catchphrase “I’ll bring the spatulas and Vaseline” morphed in my head into “spatulas and lube,” which I’d jokingly say about parties. I asked ChatGPT for an image of that. The result did not disappoint.
