Platform engineering teams waste too much time solving problems that have already been solved and the right open source projects can efficiently and cost-effectively deliver the building blocks for internal developer platforms that work and last. I’m not talking about the watered-down “open core” versions that vendors peddle like knock-off handbags, but genuine open source technologies with transparent governance and active communities.

On partage ce constat : le platform engineering privatif est une erreur...

De plus l'Open Source est le seul moyen d'éviter les boîtes noires et les couches d'abstraction non maîtrisées.

This example shows that you should NEVER trust the output of a LLM as they don't know what they are writing (feel free to correct if there's research on the subject).

Use observability in your pipelines and applications. Review everything. Iterate.

Progressively ditching ESlint and Prettier for @biomejs.dev. Easier setup, faster, no headache configuring. Only drawback is the partial support of Vue/Nuxt, hope it will get better in the future.
