Not going to get it until Citizens United is overturned and serious campaign reform is implemented. I would like to see two week election campaigns with each nominated candidate getting $10 k federal funds. Elections on Sundays and every form of voting encouraged. independently verifiable ballots.

The Republicans have been trying for years to develop a strategy to retain power despite being a minority with all demographic trends against them.In a true democracy, a party would adopt policies to appeal to voters. Here, they are trying to select voters to approve unchanging, unpopular policies.
