I love this album! My youngest sister gave me this cd years ago, and I still have it. “Angels” is my favorite song from this album.

Gospel music has brought me through some of my darkest times.

Now, with Joann stores closing, it has me thinking about the times my children and I would shop there for their and my varying hobbies and crafts.

I really miss going fabric shopping at Cloth World and Hancock Fabrics with my mom. Those were some of the best days looking through the new sewing pattern books and helping her look up patterns.

I just saw someone post that they’re ready for spring—but I am not. I love autumn: the leaves changing colors and sweater weather.

Oh well, I guess things like that happen on so many shows. I love the show still. I’m really glad I finally started watching it.

From the very first episode with Natalie, I’m sensing the show runners wanted someone more feasible as a potential romantic partner for Monk.

I’ve been watching Monk (first watch), and I’ve been noticing that I have some the main character’s quirks. Also, why did they replace Sharona and Benjy? I appreciated the non-romantic relationship Monk and Sharona had.

What an evil abomination 🤢

I hate it!! I get furious when I’m looking for made from scratch recipes and they have cake mixes or Bisquick as an ingredient.

Getting ready for Pi (π) Day and Ramadan

Sometimes, a few days go by without me doing this, and I can tell immediately because my stress and frustration levels always increase.

I use my phone’s calendar, notes, and reminders apps, but it’s something about having a physical planner to write out plans, goals, and simply daily routine & activities that helps to put my mind at ease. Writing it all out helps me focus on getting [stuff] done.😌

Oh wow!! I really should get an Instant Pot.

That’s good. We have a Michaels in the same shopping center, but the yarn section is a lot smaller.

I went Joann and picked up some yarn today. Our Joann is on the list of the 500/800 stores that will close. I’m still going to order from them online, but I’m really going to miss shopping at the store.😔

It’s funny how the mind works. It’s after one, and I have to be up early. But guess what? My brain has decided to come up with a bajillion different crochet ideas I should test out right now though I am in fact sleepy.😵‍💫

Angel cake stopped existing to me once I finally got try it, and it tasted like disappointment—definitely no where near what my child mind envisioned something named “angel” would taste like.
