Perhaps the only thing more newsworthy than the idiocy of this aide is the insanity of what Pete Hegseth wanted…and why.

He wanted express orders from Trump to send in the 82nd Airborne into Portland so that he could have ‘cover’ if ‘things went sideways’.

That means American civilian casualties.
