I was looking on the web a fortnight ago for a ceiling mounted diffuser for the new studio. The one I wanted was £1500 so I thought ‘Fk it’ and I built one myself. Used some left over paint from previous decorating. Mixed them up a bit. Ended up like this.

Commercial pop? I think the fact Kurt Smith was a pretty lad and that got them on the front of Smash Hits which was the kiss of death for music credibility. The lyrics to this are pretty fkd up. Orzabal was a genius. Managed to take the 80’s sonic palette and give it majesty.
