I wish that new comic creators who want artists to work for them understood that payment based on success/ad revenue is a carrot dangling on a stick. If 2 friends decide to make a free comic OK. But if you want a skilled artist to make a successful comic you want to profit on please pay them first.

My major was digital art, but I got to take some electives from quite a few different majors. I tried to find courses outside my major that I thought would benefit me. Mental health in sports was amazing because our professor was super inclusive and also talked about it from an art perspective

My school had some great departments and I had some unique electives I got to benefit from!
