- so yeah, a long winded spiel just to say. i love everything about making my comic! all the struggles, all the overthinking is all worth it once i see that ive finished another part by the end of the month, even if it isnt a long part

- initially, it was planned as a video game, and i know i'd never be able to dev solo with the way i get about a lack of deadlines lol. for fun here are some of sam's old sprites from 2015 (i was 12 years old!)

- it sounds like im putting myself down but i'm not. i chose this story because it is an old old story (i wrote when i was 11!), and i want to save my best epic tales for when i become a more experienced writer and artist. obv the story has changed entirely since i was 11 but still sentimental

my comic isn't my best story, but the fact that it's my first project that's tangible and isn't rotting in my notes is a big deal! i've always struggled with seeing things through to completion, so having an update once per month helps set realistic goals. i love drawing it just knowing it exists!

- he isn't the most powerful he could be; he has goals he will be focusing on throughout the duration of the campaign that i will roll for various success. if my players choose to deal with him early on, they will get rid of a HUGE problem for later as he starts to gather all cards in his favour

- he has this 'holier than thou' personality and talks mad shit but will cry if you do so much as punch him in the stomach. he's a very powerful dimension warping villain (banishment + gate type of deal...) but so pathetic at the same time! he's more of an endgame vibe but i'm setting him up rn

- his name is lux and he's a wizard-warlock dual class; he made a deal with a darker entity for reality manipulating bs. however, much of his power is bound to a notebook he has to write in to activate any spell he uses - whether originally verbal or not. he's a useless wet sock w/o it

anyways, he's been a major npc in the campaign setting for a bit !! he uses his magic to do cool stunts onstage and the non-mages are convinced he just has a great sfx team lol

continuing my yappology here but in the campaign setting, dragonborn can shift between a more humanlike form vs dragonlike!! however it is all for cosmetic purposes and they're not any more OP than dragonborn in the handbook lol. i just like my chars having fun cosmetic options

A Comic of my OC Santiago applying lipstick to Zayd, they're both sitting in bed wearing pajamas. Santiago reaches for a desk mirror and shows Zayd what his makeup looks like, a simple glittery dark eyeshadow, winged eyeliner and a gradient red lipstick; he lovingly asks "What do you think?". Zayd stammers "Oh- this..." while staring in the mirror with a shocked and worried expression; Santiago hands over the mirror to him. "um... Are you sure I can pull this off? I mean, I look weird, right?" he looks away, uncomfortable, "people are gonna stare at me." Santiago is surprised by his reaction.

Continuation of the comic. Santiago sits back, with a somber expression, "Ok. Let's start here. Do YOU like it?", Zayd shyly replies a quiet "...yeah". he hunches over, holding the mirror close, Santiago replies "Fantastic! That's the point of wearing makeup! To me, at least." Zayd looks at Santiago's general direction. "The only opinion that matters here is your own." He says as he reaches for his makeup bag. "... but, I do really like how you look, too." Zayd still looks away from him. Santiago nonchalantly puts away the lipstick in his makeup bag, "Other people can think whatever they want, but remember; This is mainly for you." Zayd looks at himself in the mirror again, somewhat unsure, he then looks at Santiago, who's staring at him with adoration, he feels reassured. "can we-" Zayd stammers again, as he takes off his hair tie "... do you have any green eyeshadow..?" Santiago lovingly replies "I do! You'll look so pretty in green"

Another lasso tool + chalk doodle I forgot to post

This humanoid kemonomimi design got inspired by Labubus and has the same fluffy pointy bunny-like ear design of medium lenght. One ear is a magenta-fuschia color the other is white. The hair is matching in colors one side is magenta pink going down turning lighter pink ombre. The other side of the hair is white. The character has demon black-gray wings on the back and fluffy gray wrist and neck collar fur. The coat is long down to the knee lenght and a pink to purple ombre corset. They wear a checkboard tighter fitting pants with heeled boots with purple heels and steel toe-like designs. One eye color is purple gray and the other eye is pink colored. The skin tone is light human skin tone with gray dark eyehadow and an ombre gray-black lip color.
