The president can issue pardons. Usually they wait until the end of their term. I wouldn’t be surprised if he issued more—he still has time.

Biden’s pardon of his son not a bad thing. For reference, the democrats favorite political saint, Jimmy Carter, posthumously restored Jefferson Davis’ citizenship. That’s right—the president of the Confederacy who fought the US in the Civil War was restored to US citizenship by Carter.

41 years ago, we were 1st year Univ of Oregon law students celebrating “the homeless law student’s” Thanksgiving at a classmate’s parent’s home, near Spencer’s Butte. Most of us are now retired. A few have passed on. Happy Bird Day!
