this website stinks
A little poem about Albany, New York from my book Tributaries (Maverick Duck Press, 2023)
beautiful. albany deserves more poems. if you like stuff about that region, check out my Substack.
you gotta hand it to him..."dried out 'prune' of a rocker" is actually kinda funny.
this is jury duty all over again. can you call them find out why you didn't make the cut?
One of my recent short stories was featured in The Substack Post! post.substack.com/p/you-feel-s...
but if you read it and can't tell the difference, does it really matter?
i'm of the opinion it's still too easy to discern AI writing nor will I ever use it, it's just a question I ask myself.
Ah shit does everyone on here hate Substack still? Miscalculation on my part.
I understand the reticence but if you're anti-Substack you might as well just get off the Internet entirely.
It seems to me that many of the same Substackers who decry the current state of traditional publishing are the very same who seem desperate to be included in it and have a notable aversion to both posting and reading fiction on Substack.
How the hell does this website even work. How do I get people to read me. It seems like everyone is just mad here
Should I just post my Substack fiction here and see what happens?
I'm not published anywhere else, I have no credentials. But I've amassed almost a thousand subscribers.

I'm realizing that my most ardent subscriber base on Substack is mostly middle-aged women, which is awesome because I am realizing here on Bluesky that this is the demographic of most literary agents.
If only I knew how to parlay this appropriately.
i often compare books to vinyl albums. like vinyl, books need not only be physical, and you can get a book subscription like a music subscription.
but the books and authors you really like, you get the physical. like vinyl albums
HELLO BLUESKY
Why read me?
Well, I can't make any promises, but almost 1K subscribers have signed up for my blog that is exclusively my original
#fiction.

I liked the open-air symbolism of escape
I am still trying to figure this website out. Bear with me but I heard there were some pretty cool literary types around. Anyways, I'm part of the fiction community on Substack.
Where the fiction at???
Yo where the lit fic folk at?
