As for the war itself, it's good that it ended fast and hundreds were killed, not thousands. But the consequences for Armenians in the region will be harsh. Azerbaijan will not let anyone leave until Artsakh surrenders people from a certain list of criminals that Azeris are going to present soon.

Ru propaganda says that Pashinyan is to blame for Artsakh's defeat. Pro-Russian activists — even before the war began — suggested that Pashinyan will be removed from power soon.

Did they know? Probably not. But they will use the lost war to destabilize the situation, like they did in 2020.

The recent war in Artsakh (known outside Armenia as Nagorno-Karabakh) lasted for just one day. Artsakh military had been overwhelmed, and Artsakh goverment was forced to surrender.

Many signs that this was pre-arranged between Putin and Ilham Aliyev.

I've been thinking about my lacklustre social media presence. Somehow my tweets get very low views (no shadowban afaic), facebook posts get no interactions and so on. Telegram channells... I'm mostly failing to post regularly there, so no surprises.

What I'd love to see in Armenia is more trains.

Interestingly, I now think about Armenia as it is my home. I cannot even speak the language. Yet, I do feel that I'm welcome here, more so than I felt in Russia in the recent years.

After a trip, when I get home, I usually become very active for a while, try to change things. Yet, nothing changes. At some point I find myself eating cakes and chocolate bars that I brought with me, and wasting time on useless chores.

That's what depression means for me.
