Open a new coffee shop and sell me an out of date Crème Egg and I will never darken your door again.
Ever.
What a spectacle

Big Air judge in commentary box:
“You rely on your 1st instinct a lot and the replays are reaffirming your initial thoughts”.
I’d have thought the replays should be used to disprove the 1st instinct - letting it carry the day only if no disconfirming evidence can be found.
Sadly, that doesn’t surprise me Jason.

Just went onto the other place to catch up with what happened to Lindsey Vonn and, of course, it’s full of people raging at her decision to race, who, of course, all know better than her.
Not so this place. Plenty of humanity here.

DAMN YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
DAMN IT!
Just back from a rather large outlet mall.
Saw a lot of really nice stuff.
Really nice.
None of which I bought.
Because, on reflection, I decided I was pretty happy with what I already have.
I’m calling it a new type of retail therapy.
From the other place👇but nonetheless…

In recognition of #WorldCancerDay
Eight years since mine.
A timely diagnosis, modern medicine and a lot of luck.
No battles were fought. To suggest otherwise would be a disservice to those with less good fortune, who don’t make it through.
Haven’t read this👇 yet but it’s already changed how I walk the dogs.
As in: less on task.
Just Googling what the Barbara Streisand effect is.
For no particular reason.
None at all really.
Thankfully I’ve never had experienced a panic attack but I have witnessed one first hand, which gave me a much better understanding of what they must feel like. Take care 👍

"What if AI wasn't just hallucinating information, but thousands of AI chatbots were working together to give the guise of grassroots support where there was none? That's the future this paper imagines—Russian troll farms on steroids,” @ninajankowicz.com

They are not lies.
They are hallucinations.
And because they are hallucinations they cannot see what we can see with our own eyes.
Really looking forward to the final of The Traitors tonight.
Not so much to the unchecked fundamental attribution error that will come with it.

Disputes are not about facts.
They are about what interpretation and value you give to facts - which ones you think are important and which ones you think are peripheral.

The one on mental health.
The one to read if you haven’t.
People don’t believe facts.
They believe the stories they tell themselves about facts.
So the only way to change the world for the better is to tell better stories.
