It's based on my brushes, i often use textured brushes, and depending on the brush, textures may look off if the canvas is too small or too big, and for my main ones that i like, if it's under 2500px, the brush's texture already loses a lot of crispiness and becomes pixely.

I start with 6144x5477

That I then crop down to around half or more around the sketches i did, though when i do Illustration I try to size up the sketch to fit more around the base rez.

at first i didn't wanna believe plugging in a gamepad could do that, like literally do the bluescreen thing, but i tried it again, multiple times, and it did again, so fuck me

Guess who's old gamepad died so they bough a new, cheap gamepad and when they got back home, plugged in that new gamepad, which then proceeded to bluescreen my pc, resetting a few drivers, needing me to set up my tablet's shortcuts from scratch....me !
